Q: So, Cynthia, First is First: when's your birthdate?Zodiac Sign?
A: March 29, 1981 Aries
Q: How would you describe your style in 3 words?
A: Feminine, Colorful, Beach-y
Q: What/Who are your style influences?
A: A few of the many would be young Farrah Fawcett, and the characters in Gossip Girls. I also really love seeing what Katy Perry is always wearing, I used to love making my own clothes like that.
Q: If you could raid anyone's closet, whose would it be? You can take everything you want!
A: Lauren Conrad. She probably has a ton of both cute casual clothes and fun cocktail dresses!
Q: What City in the world best represents your personal style?
A. I'm really bad at narrowing things down to one. I like mixes, so I say a mix of Los Angeles with Nashville. I mention Nashville because I love plaid button ups, big hair and dresses with cowboy boots (maybe not all together at once though ;)
Q: If you could choose an Era to live in simply for the fashion, which would you choose?
A: I would have loved to dress in the 18th century. Does not look comfortable but so beautiful!
Q: What does the color Red make you feel?
A: Red can sometime make me feel a bit uncomfortable LOL I am more of a turquoise person
Q: How did you come up with the name of your swimsuit line, "Cynababy"?
A: My friends and loved ones always called me Cyn. Even had a friend called me Cynabagel (not idea how she came up with that). After that, insert word after Cyna___ just seemed to be a trend when talking to me. Cynababy was one of the many cyna names. When I was thinking of names for the line, Cynababy stuck out and just fit right:)
Q: Which of your swimsuits is your absolute favorite one? Why?
A: It's so hard to chose one, I have many favorites that come everywhere with me. But I LOVE Sailor Dreams. I just love the nautical feel with the stripes, yet the contrast with the bright colors :) My other favorites are the royal blue fringe and the new ruched denim! Just a few to name, not joking its really hard to chose...
Q: What's your expert advice to give a beach bunny when shopping for the perfect swimsuit this season?
A: Dare to try something out of your comfort zone, you may be surprised how good you look and feel in it :)
Q: What's coming up next for Cynababy? What can we be on the look-out for??
A: I would say look out for more diversity in the Cynababy styles and more prints. I want to add more new cuts for different body types. Always check back on the website for new styles. I don't make bikinis that only fit the one season, so if something seems super cute, and fits well, I make it no matter what time of the year it is.
